About You
As the Compensation Analyst, your primary focus is supporting the organization’s compensation programs by analyzing market data, evaluating internal equity, and ensuring compliance with compensation policies and regulations. This role partners closely with the Director of HRIS and Compensation, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to develop and maintain competitive and equitable compensation structures that attract and retain top talent.

Your Day in the Life

  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analysis using salary surveys and compensation tools.
  • Evaluate job descriptions and classifications to determine appropriate salary grades and ranges.
  • Support the organization’s compensation planning cycles, including administration of merit increases, bonus calculations, payroll compensation audits, off-cycle pay increases and bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Maintain and update compensation structures, salary ranges, and job codes in HRIS systems.
  • Complete salary surveys as needed.
  • Perform internal equity analyses and provide recommendations for pay adjustments.
  • Assist in the development and administration of incentive and recognition programs.
  • Ensure effective communication of company compensation policies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support compensation decisions and strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
  • Participate in compensation-related projects and process improvements.

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Two to four years of compensation analysis experience required; Workday Advanced Compensation module expertise strongly preferred.
  • Previous restaurant or retail industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g., MarketPay, Radford, Mercer) preferred.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations; salary survey methodology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills with the ability to effectively provide advice and counsel.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems by displaying curiosity and taking initiative to independently research solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation is a plus.
  • This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our Support Office in Broomfield, Colorado. We’re seeking candidates who either reside locally or are open to relocating.
