About You As the Risk Management Coordinator, you support the company’s efforts to minimize risk, protect assets, and promote a safe environment for team members and guests. You assist with the day-to-day handling of incident reports, claims, and safety programs while providing accurate reporting and communication to both internal and external partners. You also play a key role in coordinating workers’ compensation, general liability, and property claims, supporting enterprise risk initiatives, and reinforcing safety and security practices across the organization.

Receive and process incident reports related to property damage, injuries, or guest concerns; coordinate claims and notify appropriate parties including insurers and third-party administrators.
Support the investigation and handling of workers’ compensation, general liability, property, and casualty claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
Maintain claims data and prepare reports to support record-keeping, leadership analytics, and risk forecasting.
Monitor incident and claims data for trends; recommend prevention measures and support process improvements.
Partner with Operations, HR, and external stakeholders (adjusters, attorneys, case managers) to assist with claim resolution and corrective actions.
Assist with workers’ compensation processes, including regulatory compliance, reporting, and coordination of return-to-work and light duty programs.
Participate in regular claim reviews with insurers and provide documentation to support closure strategies.
Prepare and distribute claim tracking, safety metrics, and trend reports for leadership.
Contribute to enterprise risk management efforts including risk assessments, business continuity planning, and scorecard tracking.
Support safety programs through training assistance, ergonomic accommodations, and participation in incident investigations.
Help administer physical security programs including access control, locks, keys, and alarm systems.
Assist in workplace violence prevention and emergency response programs; participate in crisis response teams as needed.
Partner with QA and Customer Service to support the review of guest food safety claims.
Assist in maintaining the Certificate of Insurance (COI) program and driver/vehicle policy processes.
Collaborate across departments to promote safety awareness, communicate injury trends, and support ongoing prevention initiatives.
Perform other duties, tasks, and projects related to risk, safety, and asset protection as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
1–3 years of experience in risk management, insurance, claims, safety, or related field preferred.
Experience supporting multiple locations in a retail or restaurant environment strongly preferred.
Knowledge of asset protection and workplace safety best practices preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with risk management software preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner across functions.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to actively participate in communication, meetings, and cross-departmental partnerships.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and responding appropriately to crisis situations.
This is a hybrid role with 2–3 days per week in our Support Office in Broomfield, Colorado. We’re seeking candidates who either reside locally or are open to relocating.
