About You As a Corporate Accountant, you are responsible for preparing account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. You also support the accounting team with period-end close processes, assist with audit requests, and help ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This position reports to the Accounting Department.

Scholarship opportunities through Noodles Foundation
Own the ASC 842 lease reporting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for both real estate and equipment.
Maintain the Company’s lease accounting tool (Lucernex), partnering with the Legal department to ensure all executed leases are accounted for accurately and in a timely manner.
Create and maintain equipment lease schedules, working closely with Operations to ensure accuracy of our equipment schedules.
Prepare CAM and other occupancy-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
Analyze and interpret lease and occupancy-related accounts, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and related journal entries.
Support month-end and year-end close processes for leases and fixed assets, including preparation of related reconciliations.
Account for lease terminations and modifications, including sublease activity.
Prepare or assist in preparing schedules for internal and external auditors.
Manage lease accounting transactions within the lease management system.
What You Bring to the Team
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with an analytical mindset to effectively communicate financial information.
Flexibility and a desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, taking initiative to resolve issues and complete tasks.
Business Central Accounting Software knowledge a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
