About You
As a Senior Manager of eCommerce (Temp), you will lead the strategy, performance, and operations of our digital commerce ecosystem. This includes our owned platforms such as Noodles.com, Catering.Noodles.com, and our mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as third-party delivery marketplaces like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc. Your goal is to grow digital sales, enhance the guest journey, and create a seamless, connected experience that reflects our brand and meets business objectives. You’ll drive customer acquisition and engagement by applying insights and analytics, managing key external partnerships, and collaborating with marketing, technology, and operations teams.

 

This role is responsible for advancing Noodles & Company’s digital commerce agenda by delivering targeted and personalized experiences across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, thrives in fast-paced and evolving environments, and is skilled at navigating ambiguity while building scalable processes. You’ll set the vision for our digital ecosystem, guide cross-functional execution, and work closely with third-party agencies to support broader brand and marketing strategies. Success in this role means blending strategic thinking with executional excellence to deliver innovation that elevates the guest experience and drives growth.

Your Day in the Life

  • Own the digital commerce P&L, driving growth and efficiency across the brand’s owned and third-party platforms.
  • Lead strategy and execution for our website and mobile apps—including UX improvements, promotional calendar alignment, and product innovation.
  • Manage performance and optimization of third-party delivery channels, including pricing, marketing placements, fee structures, and contractual agreements.
  • Develop and lead campaigns that drive conversion, average check, and frequency through digital channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners on CRM integration, SEO/SEM, loyalty, and performance media to support digital traffic and sales.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to product, IT, and operations teams to ensure stable performance and seamless guest experiences across platforms.
  • Monitor KPIs and customer behavior across digital platforms, leveraging insights to continually optimize performance and inform business decisions.
  • Stay current on digital and eCommerce trends in QSR/fast casual and recommend innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build and oversee an enterprise data-driven, long-term digital roadmap that will positively impact the guest experience and the company’s strategic and financial goals.
  • Identify new opportunities and enhancements to drive engagement and conversion through digital platforms. Make rapid recommendations to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
  • Accountable for the evolution and growth of the Digital A/B testing program. Proven track record of delivering strong results through testing & optimization activities.
  • Integrate website analytics and customer research, business objectives, content, and technology capabilities to determine design and user experience for new digital functionality and enhancements.
  • Prioritize teamwork based on return on investment, guest satisfaction, product performance, short/long term impact, and overall strategic company goals.
  • Drive thought leadership and execution for personalized marketing efforts across digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the Brand Team to ensure that the digital experience aligns with the overall Noodles & Company brand vision.
  • Accountable for digital KPIs, including reviewing and analyzing digital performance goals with key stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to develop actions with key stakeholders that will improve digital performance to meet goals.

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing and digital leadership roles, with 5+ years of cross-functional project management experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that drive digital revenue through both owned and third-party eCommerce platforms.
  • Expertise in digital analytics and performance tools such as GA4, GTM, Firebase, Power BI, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, UX best practices, Agile workflows, and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Experience working with tools such as WordPress/Drupal (or other CMS), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, OLO, Soci/Yext, and basic HTML.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience interpreting P&L statements, reporting dashboards, and guest insights to drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of coaching and developing internal and external teams across marketing, technology, and operations.
  • Exceptional decision-making, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and build trusted partnerships across departments.
  • Passion for improving digital commerce capabilities and delivering seamless, guest-centric digital experiences.
  • This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our Support Office in Broomfield, Colorado. We’re seeking candidates who either reside locally or are open to relocating.
