About You
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Noodles & Company Corporate-owned restaurant locations and Central Support Office expenses. This role reports to the Accounting Department.

Your Day in the Life

  • Invoice and Statement Management:
    • Review invoices and approval thresholds before entering them into the accounting system.
    • Review vendor statements and address any vendor related questions or concerns as needed
    • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and corporate restaurant management teams.
  • Accounts Payable Management
    • Maintain and manage policies, procedures, and priorities of accounts payable.
    • Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with period-end entries and accruals.
    • Assist with 1099 processing.
    • Provide support to Accounts Payable and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks or projects.
  • SOX Compliance:
    • Interface with auditors as required.
    • Maintain familiarity with current approval thresholds and matrix information to ensure compliance.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a publicly traded company or familiarity with SOX compliance.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, while collaborating in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy of information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Office, as well as general accounting software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred
